i stock

i stock photos and videos
i stock images inventory
Designing websites can be a fun process with i stock, or it can be completely overwhelming without i stock.  Part of it depends on the ease of finding the images and videos that you need to complement the writing and data that form the foundation of your website.
Print materials are less common now than they were just a few years ago, but when designing a brochure, leaflet, or signage you need to be able to convey very specific information while locked in by the limitations of just a small amount of space.  i stock can help by providing a stock photo that helps fill in the blanks so that you need less writing to introduce the piece.
Are you going to have an important presentation using Powerpoint or Empressr you may need some of the pictures from i stock but making your presentation top notch means you need quality stock video and i stock videos are just as essential as the photographs.
In all of these projects we have all seen someone who has overloaded with photo images or videos and the point of the project was completely loss.  Sometimes you just need a simple vector image like the ones that i stock has in their portfolio.
choosing your i stock image
i stock offers free accounts which you must have to use their services.   Once you have logged into your i stock account photos videos and vector files are all readily available.  You choose the keywords or categories and you can search through the files to find what you need looking at the thumbnails or previews to evaluate if it meets your criteria.  The i stock pictures start at one dollar and royalty free images are key to keeping your budget under control.
i stock offers subscriptions that allow you to access and use photos as needed if you have a regular number of projects and presentations that you are working on. However if you only use Empressr or Powerpoint occasionally you can sign up for a pay as you go account that allows you to use the images you need when you have a production presentation that calls for i stock videos or photos.

comparing i stock and flickr
Flickr is a user based compilation of photos that you can see the diversity of the photos as they are added and some of the photos do not have a copywrite but others are protected by the photographer.  I think the choice comes down to personal preference whether you choose flickr or i stock.
